Former Marangoni Meccanica area of Rovereto:
new ways of living
egeneration and sustainability: these are the principles underlying Heliopolis’s ambitious project for the urban redevelopment of the former Marangoni Meccanica industrial area, in the southern section of Rovereto.
The project involves the refurbishment of an area that used to contribute significantly to the economy of Rovereto, but which has been falling into a state of decay since 2000.
The reclamation of structures and subsoil, the demolition of existing buildings and the dismantling of dangerous roofs will be followed by the implementation of an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable project for which the media and local administrations have shown great interest and enthusiasm.
On completion, the former Marangoni area will comprise social housing, a 5,000 sqm park, commercial buildings and both cycling and pedestrian routes. A new way of living and experiencing the city, for everyone.
