edieval remains at the former S. Margherita: the campaign to save them gets under way. Ancient traces were discovered beneath the complex: the objective is to valorise them during the renovation. An examination is taking place of the medieval architectural remains found at the former Santa Margherita site. This consists of further excavations and studies being carried out by Heliopolis, in agreement with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, on remains of buildings and ancient walls erected in the Middle Ages and discovered during excavation work carried out years ago by the previous owner, when archaeological finds such as amphorae, bones and furnishings were also brought to light. The aim is to save and enhance them.
