Project Development Manager in Photovoltaic Plants - Bucharest

We are currently seeking a Full-time Project Development Manager for energy renewable plants, who will be part of our Project Management Team, in Bucharest, to lead and manage the development and evaluation of some specific project in photovoltaic plants.


  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and owners;
  • Lead and manage negotiations involving obtaining authorizations, purchase agreements, land use, interconnection agreements, ensuring that all required permits have been obtained for Ready to Build;
  • Manage and coordinate all project activities from concept to realization, in energy assessment, engineering and construction activities;
  • Analyse project contracts to make sure engineering, product specifications, construction, and project close out fulfill contractual obligations;
  • Land use permit applications and monitoring of the entire authorization process at the Authorities ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies;
  • Researching and interpreting federal, state, and local regulations to assess project permitting feasibility and requirements; and interface with regulatory agencies;
  • Manage solar energy project costs to stay within budget limits;
  • Manage photovoltaic energy project including feasibility studies, project scope, goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, contingencies, or other project information;
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of all project phases;
  • Supervise and manage day to day project activities assisting own team;
  • Communicate information continuously and effectively to cross-functional team;



  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in technical, engineering areas or similar
  • Work experience: Proven experience as project or business development manager (minimum duration of 4 years) in solar energy field
  • Knowledge in power industry, renewable energy industry and specific experience in construction and solar farm development;
  • Working technical knowledge of PV solar installations strongly desired
  • Experience in preparing permitting documents in compliance with the regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge and familiarity in project management
